What does WP offer (other than being free) that other blogging software can’t?
I’m thinking specifical about ST’s earlier comment (on Suanie’s site) about her being a traitor (or whatever he said). What’s ST use and is it superior or just different?
I think ST made that statement because previously Suanie was using BBlog, the same app that he’s using on his blog. From what I’ve read here, it was ST who helped Suanie start up a “proper” blog using BBlog.
One thing I like about WP is that it can be as simple or as complex as you want. Furthermore, it has excellent features for SEO (nice link structure, XHTML compliant core, etc.). It also has lots of plugins to expand the usability of WP beyond blogging alone.
From what I’ve seen of BBlog, WP is without a doubt, far more superior. But hey, this is my opinion… don’t start any Blog engine war based on my opinions
Kewl! Thanks for answering my question. I think when I set up my own stuff on my own server, I’ll probably be using WP now. A new toy to tinker with once I get the time!
Terima Kasih
Hello, remember me? I was on Status Quo. I’ve started blogging regularly again, but I’ve shifted my blog, to a WP host. Could you please update the link?
