In yet another attempt to have complete monopoly over the .com domain, VeriSign has somehow persuaded ICANN to propose a new contract where VeriSign will be the permanent and unregulated controller of the .com registry, forever!

To me it’s not a question of pricing, but of unfair monopoly. And VeriSign has a history of doing stupid things with its powers. I have signed a petition against them, also regarding monopolistic behaviours, and I will definitely do so again. I just don’t trust VeriSign to be a good corporate citizen. In my books, they’re definitely scum.

I’ve done a search on his “new” blog, but couldn’t find any trace of the post. Hmmm…
