In addition to Docs and Spreadsheets, Google will soon be adding presentations into the bundle.
Soon we can have an entire online office suite courtesy of el-Goog. Will such a suite be a Microsoft Office killer and put an end to its monopoly? Personally, I doubt it. Microsoft took many years to establish Office as the de-facto office productivity tool and I don’t see it being overtaken by a flashy AJAX-powered web app anytime soon.
However, I would very much like to be proven wrong… hopefully within the first decade of this century.
