Kay: Agreed. Reader’s Digest is one of those light reading material. Light here is referring to how physically portable it is. The content is very much a healthy balance of light reading as well as more serious content.

Striking the right balance with our blogs is a skill worth developing.

Criz Lai: Well, I never let blogging and/or commenting become a chore. Believe it or not, there was a phase in the life of HTNet where I didn’t post anything for more than a month. I was simply not inspired at all then.

Great sharing. I agreed with all your points up there. Sometimes mingling with the crowd can be quite tiring and time consuming. People like me visits everyone in my blogroll daily until recently when I have some family emergencies to perform. Most readers tend to forget me when they do not see me in their blogs even I’m in their blogroll. It happened so frequent that again I have to stress myself out to bound back that relationship.

I’m a person who do not simply give comment lightly and would like to give the best solution to other bloggers. As you can see, this length is about 50% of what I normally reply in other’s blog. Don’t you think replying such a long comment in about 50 plus blogs can stress you up?

Great tips! I really agree with “Mingle with the Crowd” - it’s a form of advertising for your blog, whether it’d be by commenting or by linking to other blogs. And once you get ppl to come, then that’s where the rest of your tips come in handy.
