It says Yahoo!, Google or Microsoft <em>sites</em>; not search engines. So in the case of Yahoo! sites; they include Flickr, del.icio.us, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! News, etc. It's definitely possible that many Asians use Google for searches but prefer Yahoo! sites for their photo management, social bookmarking, emailing, and other online needs. At least, that's how I read the study. I think people get a bit confused when it comes to the findings.
