HTNet Launches Free URL Redirection Service: shlnk.com

JOHOR BAHRU, 5 Sept 2007 – HTNet announced today the latest edition to its growing network of web sites, shlnk.com. shlnk.com is a free URL redirection service.

As the number of web pages increase by millions every day, URLs for these pages become ever more complex and difficult to remember. Furthermore, the lengths of many of today’s web pages are just impossibly long to be included in email and IM messages.

This is a problem that HTNet would want to alleviate with the launch of shlnk.com. shlnk.com is built using open source technologies that power many of today’s web sites.

“HTNet believes in providing useful tools for the Internet community. shlnk.com is one of the ways where we can contribute to the growth of Internet Technology,” said Azmeen Afandi, owner and Chief Developer at HTNet.
