I wonder how much power that radio wave generator consumes. What kind of battery and alterator must a car have to run on salt water? The alternator will probably consume more power than the engine generates. But lets hope they get it to work!

Good post. It amazes me how car dealers can sell something that depreciates that much the minute you drive it off the forecourt. Give me something 18 months old and I will save a huge packet of money and still get a great deal.

If you are in the UK and are looking for a used car why not try:

papajoneh,

Or this might be an elaborate scam ;)

Dabido,

I'm a bit worried about the whole thing!

After reading the article a few more times over, it's possible that this whole "accidental discovery" could just be an excuse to get some government funding.

I do hope that it's real though, for the sake of our children.

I'm a bit worried about the reporter:
'"This is the most abundant element in the world. It is everywhere," Dr. Roy said of salt water.'

Salt water isn't an element. Hydrogen is an element [most abundant in the Universe], which might be what the Dr was referring too. But sea water? An element? Never!
