		<description>ipohchai - Sun has heaps of Open Source stuff under their belt.  They&#039;re hardware vendors NOT software vendors.  Almost everything on Sun boxes comes free from somewhere [almost, but not all].  :-)  The problem is buying the $10,000 Sun box to run it all on.  :-)</description>

To be honest, it&#039;s not going to be beneficial for Sun to altogether stop licensing MySQL under the GPL.

The way I see it, they&#039;ll definitely be integrating MySQL more closely with their current product lines. There&#039;d probably be an &quot;enterprise&quot; version of MySQL or a new RDBMS product based on MySQL that they&#039;ll be charging for.

The bottom line though, is that it won&#039;t matter too much for us end users.</description>
