My company will be conducting a free senior management seminar this Tuesday (17 May) as well as on June the 2nd.

As reported by C|Net and discussed on OSNews… the monopoly from Redmond has again, showed their acumen for illogical and exploitive business decisions.

However, to be fair to Microsoft, the press release for XP Starter Edition already contains the following information:

Starting in October 2004, Windows XP Starter Edition will ship on new, low-cost desktop PCs available through PC original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Microsoft OEM distributors in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Language versions will be available in Thai, Malay and Indonesian.

However, it would be kinda dumb to actually use a manufacturer-crippled OS when there are other perfectly viable alternatives available which are the real deal.

In this piece from The Star, we can read about what goes on in the minds of immigrant workers in Malaysia.

We can see the wages that these workers receive in the industries they’re in. Heck, some of them earn quite an attractive sum! I’ve always had much respect for the average foreign worker. They tend to save religiously and be very prudent in spending their money. I wish I had such discipline.

Just upgraded to WordPress 1.5.1 (downloadable here) a few hours ago. Everything works fine so far.

My first WP upgrade went without a hitch, and pretty much a very easy process. And for those of you who missed it, upgrade instructions are available, however it may seem to be a tad bit outdated.

I’ve also added the Random Bloglink section to the sidebar. Basically it’s a randomly generated link to a blog on the BlogShares network.
