…because come October 1st this year, the prices are going up all thanks to Verisign! .com domains will cost $6.86 per pop (currently $6.42), while .net domain prices will go up by $0.38 (current price is $3.85).
So if you’re considering to buy (or renew) domains; I’d suggest that you do it bloody now!
After moving HTNet to my new dedicated server, I needed to find out whether the domain has correctly pointed to the IP address of my the server. I was scouring the web for a tool that would help me query a few DNS servers around the world and report to me what they think is the IP address for my domain.

If you visit Malaysian blogs frequently, you’d probably find yourself redirected to a domain called adbaaz.com quite often for the past few hours or so. The problems is because Advertlets (I’d link them but continue reading to find out why I won’t), an online advertising company that has its customer base mostly in Malaysia forgot to, wait for this, renew their domain registration! Therefore, all pages that has their ad serving JavaScript will redirect visitors to adbaaz.com.
