Let’s get straight to the point, everyone knows that Google’s “Don’t be evil” motto is informal. How you read the word is entirely subjective. Personally, I think that most of the time, it’s not up to the company to decide how good, evil or chaotic neutral it is… it depends a heck of a lot more on consumers and the public in general.

With the recent hoo-haa over PageRank over the past week or so, I’ve read so many stories, conspiracy theories and downright nonsense about the algorithm behind that little green bar. But what do we really know about this thing that causes so many webmasters to lose sleep and bloggers to wail that they’re going to lose their online revenue?

Wow… somebody sure is taking this paid links jihad very seriously. Google has again reduced the PageRank values of various sites. The main suspected reason for this seems to lean heavily on selling Text-Link-Ads. Mind you this is just a theory at the moment… Google is taking the approach of keeping quiet for now.

I’ve noticed that since 23 October 2007, I didn’t have the stats for my AdSense custom channels. At first I suspected that I must have deleted these channels accidentally. It must be my fault because Google couldn’t possibly mess this up being a God and all.

But now, more than 24 hours later, I’m pretty sure all my channels are accounted for and I have not made any adjustments to my web files. It also seems that I’m not the only one with this problem.

What about you? Are your custom channels data showing up right?

Gmail now provide users with almost 3.5GB storage. Check out this screenshot:

It seems like it was just yesterday that it hit 2.5GB. I don’t know when exactly this happened but I’m not complaining… keep it coming el-Goog
