Malaysian Parliament Dissolved, Polling Day To Be Announced Tomorrow

Less than 24 hours after denying that parliament will be dissolved today, he did exactly just that just a few minutes from the time of this post. However, this is no surprise since there was a lot of speculation that today would be the day anyway. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi added that the official date for polling day would be announced tomorrow.

I don’t really care when the election date would be. The only thing that’s on my mind is that I have to perform my duty as a Malaysian and go out to vote on that day. Are you a registered voter?

UPDATE: Polling day is 8 March 2008.

Happy Chinese New Year!

I’m currently posting this from a slow dial up connection so I got to make this real quick. Here’s wishing all HTNet regular readers a happy and prosperous Chinese new year! May the year of the rat bring us good fortune all year ’round.

And now, back to my scheduled CNY break :)

Advertlets Goofs Its Domain Renewal

If you visit Malaysian blogs frequently, you’d probably find yourself redirected to a domain called adbaaz.com quite often for the past few hours or so. The problems is because Advertlets (I’d link them but continue reading to find out why I won’t), an online advertising company that has its customer base mostly in Malaysia forgot to, wait for this, renew their domain registration! Therefore, all pages that has their ad serving JavaScript will redirect visitors to adbaaz.com.

Back And Rejuvenated

While everyone else is preparing for their Christmas holidays, I’m back from my somewhat long leave. And before I forget, Happy Aidiladha to all Muslim visitors of HTNet.

This long and mostly offline holiday have given me some energy and a lot of enthusiasm! I’m itching to write some posts on a variety of topics, and believe me, they will be coming onto your browsers and RSS readers very soon.

So how did I spend my holidays? Well, to be honest it’s all wallet-intensive travels. I went shopping in IKEA, One Utama, The Curve and KLCC. I also visited Zoo Negara and Petrosains… so there’s a dose of edutainment in it as well :)

The only thing that sucks is that I didn’t bring along my camera as I had loaned it to a friend prior to my trip. But I’m sure that this won’t be my last time visiting the places mentioned above.

It’s back to your regular HTNet updates from now on :)
