Why You Should Be A Shareasale Affiliate

Anyone with an interest for making money online would probably have heard of affiliate marketing. The most popular affiliate marketing programs commonly use the PPC model. PPC programs, as its name implies, pay publishers for every click that sends a visitor to an advertiser’s web page. The most popular PPC program would be Google AdSense.

However, there are affiliate programs beyond PPC including; Pay Per Lead (you get paid when you introduce a new customer to an advertiser), Pay Per Sale (you get paid a percentage for a purchase done by your referral) and Pay Per Action (you get paid when your referral performs a specific action; eg. filling out and submitting a form). Believe it or not, these programs typically pay much more than PPC!

My Splogging Experiment (Part 1)

I’ve been wondering why splogging (spam blogging) is becoming more prevalent nowadays. The first thing I suspected was it must surely be profitable monetary wise. Why else would anyone hop on the splogging bandwagon if it wasn’t for the money?

Rather than just wonder about it, I decided to give it a try. I created a (now deactivated) subdomain on blings.info (I’m not about to invest on a proper domain just for an experiment) and started building my experimental splog.

Idea For Google: Using AdSense Income To Supplement AdWords

I’ve been contemplating on getting started with AdWords to start promoting some affiliate products. The thing that’s holding me back for now is that I have no idea how the AdWords interface would be like. In addition to that, I’m also not so sure about how keyword prices and bidding process work in AdWords. In fact, I’m worried I could end up losing too much money in the learning process itself.

Then an idea hit me; wouldn’t it be nice for a Google client to have his AdWords account linked to an existing AdSense account? Meaning, he can use the balance of his AdSense income to fund AdWords campaigns.

What do you think? Is this feasible for Google to implement?
