Last Sunday, I had the opportunity to photograph an exciting event; my friend’s sister’s engagement ceremony. It was a joyous event and I wish the bride all the best for this phase of her life and beyond.

Last Sunday, I went to Persada Johor ICC primarily for checking out the last PC Fair of the year. Sad to say it was still the same old stuff being sold to the same people. As usual, the best “deals” are still limited to small peripherals like the ever present USB thumb drives.
Fortunately, there was also an auto show going on at the same time at the same venue. Although I’m not a carburettor head, at least the auto show has some machines that are worth taking photos of.

It’s been a while since I post some photos. I’ll continue doing that now 
On Sunday, I went to KL to send my uncle and cousin on their way to Mecca to perform the Haj. It’s one of the pillars of Islam and almost everyone I know that have embarked on the trip tell me it’s one of their most fascinating journeys.

Yeah The Olympics begins today and I have a feeling that it’ll be awesome! The Chinese believe that the number 8 signifies prosperity, and this makes today 8 August 2008 one of the most auspicious dates in our lifetime.
To celebrate the occassion, I’ll be sharing eight pictures I took from my trip to Desaru Damai Beach Resort (warning: butt ugly web site which doesn’t do justice to the place!) last week.
Like I’ve mentioned earlier, I went to Malaysia Flora Fest last Saturday. To be honest, there’s not a lot that interests me there. I did take some pictures of the floats, but they’re not worth shouting about. Maybe I’ll post some pictures of the floats… maybe not.
However, I did drop by Taman Orkid Juita at Danga Bay and although the orchids displayed there look plain, they’re still wonderful photography subjects. Check out some pictures I took of the orchids there.
