It’s been a really irritating 24 hours for me when it comes to getting online. I can’t access more than half of the sites I frequently visit. What’s worse is that I can use none of Google’s services which include Gmail, Docs, Reader, AdSense and AdWords.
This is absolutely killing me. Thank you TM Stinkyx!
UPDATE @ 10:35am GMT+8: Well wonders never cease! Everything back to normal.
What I love about handling systems is that everything is clear cut. Sorting out anomalies may be troublesome, sometimes even bordering on impossible; but given enough time and effort it will be sorted out. Regardless if you’re handling hardware, software, networks or a hybrid combination systems can be sorted out and made to play well with each other.
People on the other hand, are a totally different game. There’s no human being alive that can be categorized as predictable. Sometimes what seems like normal behaviour is really a front to a totally different motive.

Sorry for not posting for the past couple of days. I just didn’t have anything to write about. Worst still, I’ve gone through what probably was the saddest weekend of my life as a family man.
On Saturday, I brought my wife to the gynecologist. We’re expecting our second child. However, upon examination, the doctor said that there’s been no growth at all since the last check up. There’s also no foetal echo (ie. no heartbeat detected).
And today, my wife started bleeding. I took her to the clinic first thing in the morning. A “cleaning” procedure has been scheduled for her at 3:00pm today (Malaysian time).
Yes, I do feel saddened by this whole ordeal; but hey, this is life. We score some points and we take some hits as well. Some more significant than others. The most important thing is to move on positively.
I know my posting frequency has been less frequent than normal. The reason for this is that I’ve been packing some stuff at the office. We’re moving. It’s so tiring that the last thing I want to do is to type on a computer.
I’m compiling a list of interesting things that I would like to write about when I’m not so tired. I guarantee you that it will get posted… just not now.
It’s Christmas eve and I’m writing this from the office. There aren’t a lot of people around. I’m pretty sure that only 30% of the overall workforce in my office reported for duty today.
