Sorry for not posting for the past couple of days. I just didn’t have anything to write about. Worst still, I’ve gone through what probably was the saddest weekend of my life as a family man.

On Saturday, I brought my wife to the gynecologist. We’re expecting our second child. However, upon examination, the doctor said that there’s been no growth at all since the last check up. There’s also no foetal echo (ie. no heartbeat detected).

And today, my wife started bleeding. I took her to the clinic first thing in the morning. A “cleaning” procedure has been scheduled for her at 3:00pm today (Malaysian time).

Yes, I do feel saddened by this whole ordeal; but hey, this is life. We score some points and we take some hits as well. Some more significant than others. The most important thing is to move on positively.

I know my posting frequency has been less frequent than normal. The reason for this is that I’ve been packing some stuff at the office. We’re moving. It’s so tiring that the last thing I want to do is to type on a computer.

I’m compiling a list of interesting things that I would like to write about when I’m not so tired. I guarantee you that it will get posted… just not now.

It’s Christmas eve and I’m writing this from the office. There aren’t a lot of people around. I’m pretty sure that only 30% of the overall workforce in my office reported for duty today.

My current project at work has drained me of the will to look at a computer. Thankfully, I’ll be going for a somewhat long leave from today until Hari Raya Haji. I’ll be in KL during this period.

Maybe I’ll gain some motivation to post a few things here and there during that time, but don’t get your hopes up too high… I know I won’t

I haven’t gotten a chance to post anything for the past 24 hours. I took ownership of a small but interesting project at work and am currently building an invoice tracking system for one of the departments.

Eventhough it’s a small project, it will take me some time to complete (and this doesn’t include dry run time) because I’m the sole developer of the system. Working alone on a program can make you become sick of looking at a computer, so I’m taking some time off the computer while at home… so please forgive me for not posting as often as I usually do.

On the other hand, I’m more than happy to follow a good buddy of mine around town. Doing what? Shopping. For what? Believe it or not, wedding rings! He’s getting married in a couple of months and is still looking for that ideal symbol of lost freedom
