New NVIDIA Linux Drivers Out Now

Through random browsing of the NVIDIA web site, I saw that they have updated their Linux graphics drivers.

This release, version 1.0-7167, is now compatible with the latest 2.6 Linux kernel. The README file has also been updated.

This took some time, but hey, at least I need not wait as long as the Linux sods who are using ATI cards… I don’t have a few lifetimes to burn :p

BitTorrent 4.0.0 Released

BitTorrent, the protocol which allegedly accounts for more than one-third of all Internet traffic, has now hit version 4.0.0.

Another interesting point to note about this release is that the license has changed from the MIT license to BitTorrent Open Source License, which basically is a derivative of the Jabber Open Source License. Somehow after writing this, I felt that 99% of you don’t really give a flying hoot about this… but what the hell, I already typed the damned thing :).
